FASHION: TREND ALERT: DARK ROMANCE

a walk on fall’s dark side by dressing in hues of oxblood and black while channeling inspiration from the 17th century... Seen on the runways from lace booties and sculptured jewelry to embellished bags and detachable embroidered collars the trend of Dark Romance is definitely on point for this Autumn Winter season makeup...
Oxblood is the must-have color of the Autumn Winter season in everything from tops and jackets to dresses and pants this deep dark red hue has made a huge comeback. To incorporate fall’s favorite shade into your daily look opt for a pair of oxblood colored booties or take twist to the classic leather jacket and reach for this staple in a deep red shade.

Hues of black should forever be a staple color in your wardrobe, however, this season think lace, leather and faux fur and take your blacks to a new level channeling a ladylike gothic appeal. To subtly achieve Autumn Winter’s Dark Romance trend try mixing a delicate lace black scarf into your daily cold weather style.
Don’t be afraid to play with texture too by mixing tough leather with sumptuous velvet and delicate lace.
Of course, black is key to this trend but a hint of blood red accessory or deep green jewel can lift the look from goth to glamour.
A strong beauty look for this season's makeup is a vampy lip with nails to match, a blood red lip and nail color is the way forward..  Rock a deep berry lips against a neutral background.. luminous and pale skin and peroxide eyebrows are crucial to the look too.
Beauty tips: always apply your lipstick with a lip brush (not only will it create a better result but it'll last longer too) and always wear a base coat under deep red nail varnishes as it tends to stain.
